I am a 20-year-old mixed-media artist and designer based in Brooklyn, New York. I am from Columbus, Ohio originally, and currently I am working towards receiving my BFA in Product Design at Parsons School of Design, where I also work as a Communications Assistant for the Dean’s Office
and as the current Head of Communications for the Parsons chapter of the Industrial Designers Society of America. My work has also been featured in multiple galleries and exhibitions.I emphasize sustainability and materiality in all of my work. I achieve this by focusing on making products and functional art that have recyclable, multifunctional, collapsible, or single-material aspects. Aesthetically, I create works that follow a general theme of intentional imperfection. My pieces are visibly handmade, often favoring hand tools, natural finishing, and non-mechanical joining processes over more mechanized practices.
